Few Takers For No Frill Cars

The $9,990 no frills Nissan car is apparently treated with disdain as it does not have air conditioning or a radio!
One would have thought that with recession extending its vice like grip, such a vehicle would be just what the tight-fisted American is looking for. That apparently is not true, as nobody wants such a stripped down version of a car. It seems a car is just not a car without power windows, side view mirrors which can be operated from the driver’s seat, vanity mirrors, a radio and of course air conditioning.
So what do we really want? A means for transportation or cars, which we can call “cool”, in more ways than one.
